| The 610V1 Hybrid Aeroturbine consists of a helical rotor and airfoils housed within a 6 ft. x 10 ft. steel cage combined with a shelf of 6 photovoltaic solar panels. This turbine weighs approximately 700 lbs. including the alternator, without ballast. The standard 610V1 Hybrid Aeroturbine is 20 ft. tall and the solar shelf spans 15.5 ft. The typical power rating for each of the 6 solar panels is 175 Watts for a total of 1050 Watts. The 610V1 Hybrid is intended for vertical mounting and can be either bolted or ballasted down. Vertical Aeroturbines work well in winds from any direction, and therefore the presence of a dominant wind direction is not critical. The 610V1 Hybrid is modular and may be horizontally extended indefinately to create very large wind and solar electric arrays covering entire urban rooftops. | |||
All Aeroturbines are designed and custom-built to fit the architecture of the building. Exact costs will depend on project location, number of turbines purchased, and the required mounting method. The 610V1 Hybrid Aeroturbine has an estimated cost of $30,000. This price includes the rotor, cage, mounting structures, 6 - 175 Watt photovoltaic solar panels, the support structure for the solar, and all the electronic equipment. The installed cost of Aeroturbines will dramatically decrease when manufacturing begins. The more turbines you order the less they will cost. In order to operate efficiently, Aeroturbines must be installed in at least 10 mph per year average wind speeds. In this average, with the 1,000 Watts of solar, each 610V1 Hybrid can produce 5,000 watts annually (solar and wind estimated total annually is 6,000 Watts). The 610V1 Hybrid needs to be building attached, and above or away from surrounding trees and other obstructions. Aeroturbines are available for limited multifamily residential buildings, institutional buildings and commercial buildings in the Chicago area and on a very limited basis everywhere else. We currently do not have an extensive dealer network in place. You would need a certified dealer in your area to take delivery of the Aeroturbine, install it and maintain it properly. We currently have dealers located in Chicago, Illinois and Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Any projects outside a radius of 50 miles from one of our dealers will be carefully considered by the CEO. Once manufacturing is in place we will be able to service more customers with more dealerships. Aerotecture Warranty
