Randall Museum

199 Museum Way, San Francisco, California

The Randall Museum unveiled the Aeroturbine for the United Nations World Environment Day on June 6, 2005, to kick off a special exhibit on renewable energy for middle school students.  A 510V Aeroturbine was permanently installed in the museum courtyard.  Although the rest of the exhibit has ended, the Aeroturbine continues to provide the Randall Museum with renewable battery-stored electricity.

The Randall Museum's courtyard area is also a beautiful garden area, where children, birds and butterflies play. This was a true test for the Aeroturbine to live harmoniously within this environment.

This installation is Aerotecture International's first 510V Aeroturbine. We hope to do more museums and children learning centers to teach the next generation a new way of creating energy.
